Jikiden Reiki means “direct pas down” in the most authentic Japanese line.
In 1938 Mrs. Chiyoko Yamaguchi learned Reiki from one of the 20 teachers that Usui Sensei trained. With Usui Sensei’s permission this teacher, Dr. Chujiro Hayashi, founded his own Reiki institute and helped spread Reiki throughout the world.
Mrs. Yamaguchi and her son Tadao Yamaguchi honouring the teachings of Hayashi Sensei and made this traditional form of Reiki available for the students in Japan and the western world.
In 1999 the “Jikiden Reiki Kenkyukai” was established and they started teaching.
The Gokai – The Reiki principles.
Mikao Usui Sensei gave us these guidelines as one of the Pillars of Reiki.
He advised his students to live this principles and speak them out loud and in there hard, every morning and every evening.

This words are not meant to be limiting or commanding.
Kyo dake wa: Just for today
Ikaru na: Do not be angry
Shinpai suna: Do not worry
Kansh shite: Be grateful
